Used to renovate and maintain roof coverage surfaces, and to protect underground segments of buildings and edifices against moisture (such as continuous footing, foundations etc.). Perfect to make joint-free roof coverage surfaces, reinforced by industrial fabrics. The mortar can be also used to form insulation layers under flooring in basements, terraces and balconies; when diluted, in can be used to prime floors laid on the ground in basements and garages. ATTENTION!!! Do not use in rooms with permanent human presence.
Packaged in 20, 10 & 5kg containers.
HOW TO MAKE HYDRO-INSULATION: The mass should be applied with a brush, metal trowel or sprayed, minimum in two layers (subsequent layers should be applied when the previous one is dry). Corners smoothened earlier, so-called plaster coves should be reinforced with industrial fabric bands, by immersing them into the mass. Be cautious when earthing up, to avoid mechanical damages on the finished coating (it can be secured by gluing an EPS layer).
MAINTENANCE OF TAR BOARD ROOFING: Apply the mass onto a properly prepared base minimum in two layers (subsequent layers should be applied when the previous one is dry). The contact between the roof and a chimney or another item reinforce the coating with industrial fabric bands, by immersing them into the mass. Mineral topping should be put on top of the last applied layer. This will enable significant life extension for the finished coating.
JOINTLESS ROOFING: The first mass layer should be applied uniformly on the entire roof surface. The second layer should be applied after the previous spreading of a polypropylene mesh over the surface. The mesh overlap should be ca. 10 cm. The third layer should be applied after the previous one has dried off. The mass should be distributed in strips, at a width equal to the width of the fabric. Put the fabric onto the fresh mass and rub the insulation, so that the fabric is soaked with the mass. Remember that the mass should be applied uniformly on the surface. The fourth layer should be applied after the previous one has dried off. Mineral topping should be put on top of the last applied layer.
The temperature of the base and its surroundings during the application and drying should be between 5°C and 35°C. The optimal application temperature is + 20°C. The specified processing times may vary under the influence of adverse thermal and moisture conditions. Areas exposed to soiling should be secured. Any stains should be washed away with water before they dry up. Dry stains should be removed with organic solvents.
