Used to smoothen mineral priming and plasters on I-III surface categories, inside and outside buildings. The mortar can be used as mineral felted plaster, or as surfacer used to repair and renovate facades, plinths, building interiors (new and old, also historical), and to make decorative surfaces with the appearance of sandstone. After the mortar dries off, its surface will be resistant to weather conditions, hydrophobic and frost-resistant. The product is classified as single-layer plaster mortar (OC type), with compression strength of CS II category (1.5-5.0 N/mm2) and W2 water absorption category.
Packaged in 25kg containers.
Preparation of mortar: Empty the package (25kg) into ca. 6.5 - 7.0 l of clean, cool water and stir until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Put the mass aside for 5 minutes, then stir again. Clean tools and containers must be used in mortar preparation. Mortar consistency should be selected according to the type of intended works, base and weather conditions. Attention should be paid so that water is not added in excess, as this may worsen the plaster strength parameters. When the mortar thickens in the meantime, stir it again without adding water.
Execution: Mortar should be applied with a steel trowel, at a thickness of 2-5 mm. After 30-60 minutes, floating can begin, with the use of felt trowels. If necessary, reinforcement mesh can be sunk into the mortar. In this case, apply mortar with a toothed 6/8 trowel, then sink the reinforcement mesh and smoothen the whole surface with a smooth trowel. Remember to retain 10-centimetre mesh margins where joints are located. The entire thickness of the reinforced layer should be between 2.5 and 5 mm. Works on a wall constituting a single plane should continue non-stop. Further works can begin only after the mortar has dried off completely; 1 day/mm of thickness.
The processed surface should be shielded against rain, wind and excess sunlight until it is completely dry. Do not carry out any works when the ambient and base temperature is lower than +5°C. The temperature level below +5°C during the plaster drying period (min. 24 h from the completion of works) can considerable worsen its strength parameters. Protect the plaster against drying too fast, by sprinkling some water on it. Secure surfaces exposed to contamination; any stains should be removed before drying. Tools should be washed with water directly after the completion of works.
