Used in the erection of walls with the use of bricks, ceramic and silicate hollow bricks, concrete blocks etc. in single- and multi-storey buildings. The mortar can be used both inside and outside buildings, except for rooms continuously exposed to humidity (cellar walls, foundations below the permeability level etc.). The addition of pearlstone reduces the likelihood of so-called thermal bridges to be formed. The product is classified as light masonry mortar (L type), with compression strength at a category min. M5 (> 5,0 MPa).
Packaged in 25kg containers.
Preparation of mortar: Empty the mortar package (20kg) into ca. 11-12 l of clean water and stir until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Mortar consistency should be selected according to the type of intended works, materials used, base and weather conditions. Adding too much water may result in worsening of strength parameters. When the mortar thickens, stir it again without adding water.
Brick-laying: Apply the mortar onto the base with a trowel, the laid elements should be slightly pressed and levelled, and excess mortar removed. Particular attention should be paid to joints being filled in full, as this has significant influence on thermal conductivity.
The temperature of the base and its surroundings during the application and drying should be between +5°C and +30°C. Optimum temperature during application: +20°C. The specified processing times may be subject to considerable variations under the influence of adverse thermal and moisture conditions. Tools should be washed with water directly after the completion of works.
