Used for manual levelling of surfaces before glazing works, to fill up local gaps and hollows in external and internal building walls. The mortar can also be used as cement plaster in places exposed to moisture, such as cellars, zones near building plinths etc. The product is classified as general-purpose plaster mortar (GP type), with compression strength of CS IV category (>6.0 N/mm2). It can be applied on mineral bases, such as: cement and cement-lime plasters, walls made of bricks and ceramic hollow-bricks, walls made of cellular concrete, concrete surfaces etc.
Packaged in 25kg containers.
Preparation of mortar: Empty the package (25 kg) into 5.8-6.1 l of clean, cool water and stir well, until a smooth mass without lumps is obtained. Adding too much water may result in worsening of strength parameters. When the mortar thickens, stir it again without adding water.
Application of mortar: Mortar should be applied on the base with a trowel or long float. The thickness of one layer should not exceed 1.0 cm; the second layer may be applied after a minimum of 6 hours. The levelled surface can be smoothened after mortar setting (ca. 1 hour).
The temperature of the base and its surroundings during the application and drying should be between 5°C and +30 °C. Optimum temperature during application: +20°C. The processing times may be subject to considerable variations under the influence of adverse thermal and moisture conditions. The plaster-covered surfaces should be protected against frost and drying too fast, by covering them with meshes, films, water-sprinkling etc.
